Ofcom is the new communications sector regulator and has wide-ranging responsibilities. It has inherited the duties of the five regulators it replaced: the Broadcasting Standards Commission (BSC), the Independent Television Commission (ITC), Oftel, the Radio Authority and the Radiocommunications Agency. |
